Last updated: 16th October 2025

1. Introduction

Welcome to ComplyRx. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ComplyRx platform, services, and website (collectively, "the Service").

By accessing or using ComplyRx, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

ComplyRx provides automated literature-based analyses to assist professionals in verifying promotional claims. The Service is intended for informational and internal review purposes only.

2. Disclaimer of Responsibility for Claim Use

ComplyRx provides analytical tools to help users identify and summarise clinical evidence relevant to promotional claims. The information generated by ComplyRx is intended solely to assist professional judgment and internal review processes.

ComplyRx does not:

  • Guarantee regulatory compliance under ABPI, EFPIA, FDA, MHRA, or any other regional or national code.
  • Substitute for independent medical, legal, or regulatory review.
  • Endorse, validate, or approve any promotional claim or marketing material.

Users remain solely responsible for ensuring that their promotional statements and materials comply with all applicable laws, codes, and internal policies.

3. Limitation of Liability

ComplyRx shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of business, reputational damage, penalties, or regulatory action resulting from reliance on ComplyRx outputs.

You acknowledge that the final responsibility for claim substantiation and approval lies with your internal medical, legal, and regulatory teams.

4. Accuracy and Limitations of the Service

While ComplyRx strives to provide accurate and relevant analyses, the Service cannot guarantee that results are complete, error-free, or up to date.

Automated literature analysis may omit studies, misclassify relevance, or interpret content differently from human reviewers.

Users must independently assess the outputs and use their own professional judgment before acting upon them.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use ComplyRx only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable promotional and advertising regulations.
  • Ensure that all content you upload (including promotional materials, claims, and documents) does not contain confidential patient data or infringe on third-party rights.
  • Accept full responsibility for any outcomes resulting from the use or interpretation of ComplyRx analyses.

You may not:

  • Use ComplyRx to generate promotional claims or create content for external publication.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell any portion of the Service.

6. Data Handling and Confidentiality

ComplyRx treats all uploaded text and files as confidential. Uploaded materials are used only to perform the requested analyses and are not shared with other users.

ComplyRx does not claim ownership of user-submitted content.

Users are responsible for ensuring that materials submitted comply with applicable data protection and confidentiality laws.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the ComplyRx platform, workflows, databases, user interface, and documentation remain the property of ComplyRx.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership or licence rights beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on the ComplyRx Service without written consent.

8. Subscriptions, Credits, and Refunds

  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Credits purchased through ComplyRx do not expire.
  • Refunds are not provided for unused credits or partial billing periods except as required by law.
  • You can cancel or upgrade your subscription at any time from your account settings.

9. Service Availability

ComplyRx aims to maintain reliable and continuous access to the Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Maintenance, updates, or third-party service disruptions may cause temporary downtime.

ComplyRx is not liable for any loss or delay caused by such interruptions.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Modifications to These Terms

ComplyRx may update or revise these Terms from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
